How did the photography?

H oday's world day of photography, so here how it all began:

When France has experienced a period of political instability in the mid-nineteenth century, a consequence of the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Empire, a new profession, recognized later also as art: photography.

In fact, records show that at the time of Aristotle already knew the phenomenon of producing images by the passage of light through a small hole and a good part of the basic principles of optics and chemistry that involve later the invention of photography.

In the tenth century, the Arab scholar Alhazen showed how to observe a solar eclipse within a camera obscura: a darkened bedroom, with a small hole open to the outside.

During the Renaissance, a lens was placed in a small hole and obteu to better image quality. The camera obscura started to become smaller and smaller, until it became an object that could be taken anywhere.

Already with a portable size, in the seventeenth century, the camera obscura was used by many painters in the execution of their works.

An Italian scientist Angelo Sala, in 1604, observed the dimming of a certain compound of silver by sun exposure, but could not fix the image that had just disappeared.

There were many scholars who over the years have added new discoveries: in 1725 with Johan Heinrich Schulze, a professor of medicine at the University of Aldorf, Germany and the early nineteenth century with Thomas Wedgwook, which, like silhouettes Schulze got fixed in negative, but the light continued to darken the image.

Photography actually appeared in the summer of 1826, the French inventor and lithographer Joseph Nicephore Niepce. In February 1827, received a letter from Niepce Louis Daguerre, in Paris, who has expressed interest in recording images. In 1829, became partners, but Niepce died in 1833. Six years later, on January 7, 1839, Daguerre reveals the French Academy of Sciences a process that originated the photographs or daguerreotypes.

The shooting attracted the attention of many people who are moved by the enthusiasm, became adherents of that technique. Thus, both London Paris, a boom was purchased lens and chemical reagents.
